I highlighted only a single step in that model. To develop the sub-capabilities for your own models, you could select one, more, or all of the steps and leverage a canvas like this to formulate your own sub-capabilities. Keep in mind, we don’t exclude things just because we don’t feel the pain. It’s important to understand the entire set of capabilities; especially if you have multiple functional groups performing the same job in different parts of your business. They will likely perform at different levels.
